1The main functions of the gas drive recovery rate experimental device
It is mainly used for experimental research on gas injection miscible/immiscible oil recovery efficiency, flow characteristics of gas drive oil, flow control of gas drive process, and optimization of gas injection method related to gas drive development technology. It can effectively improve the development effect of low-permeability reservoirs and provide technical reserves for improving the recovery rate of low-permeability reservoirs, and provide technical solutions for numerical simulation research.

4Basic composition and structure of the instrument
The instrument consists of an injection system, a modeling system, a measurement system, an automatic control system, and a data acquisition and processing system. See workflow for details:
Inject system:It consists of an injection pump, an intermediate container, a gas pressurization system, a gas pressure regulating system, pipe valves, etc., and can inject various fluids into the model at a certain flow rate.
Simulation system:It consists of a core gripper, a constant temperature box, an annular pressure pump, a back pressure system, etc.
Measurement system:Including pressure measurement, temperature measurement, flow measurement, oil gas water volume measurement, etc.
Auto-Control:The computer automatically controls the flow rate of the injection pump. Constant temperature box heating, etc.
Data collection and processing:Composed of various data acquisition cards, computers, printers, and acquisition and processing software, it can timely collect parameters such as pressure, temperature, and flow rate, and perform arithmetic processing on the data.

- Injection Pump
The pump adopts imported AC servo motor and servo system, controlled by microcomputer for operation, with constant speed and pressure drive function, working pressure: 60MPA, flow rate: 0.01~25ml/min

3. Gas booster pump: composed of gas booster pump, gas booster container and other components, it pressurizes the low-pressure gas in the gas cylinder to a high-pressure state.

- Environmental pressure tracking pump

The safe operation of the instrument involves the operator's personal safety and the normal service life of the instrument. The manufacturer reminds the operator to pay attention to the following points:
The internal instruments and computers of the instrument must ensure correct power input and must be equipped with automatic voltage regulation protection devices.
Each part of the instrument must be properly grounded.
The pressure of each part of the instrument manifold should not exceed the design pressure, especially not exceed the range of various detection instruments. Extra caution must be taken when using gas pressurization.
The valve design of the instrument is manual operation. Please pre design the test process according to the test steps. Any valve operation error may lead to the failure of the entire test.
The system must be equipped with insulated gloves during high-temperature operation to prevent burns.
Special attention: When heating, due to the expansion of the liquid caused by heat, the pressure increases. Therefore, the liquid in the container cannot be filled to prevent the pressure from being too high and exceeding the container's operating pressure.

All instruments have been installed and tested before leaving the factory. For the convenience of packaging and transportation, the instrument is divided into different parts for packaging. Please carefully refer to the flowchart during installation.
The installation work can also be jointly completed by the factory's technical personnel and the user, so that the user can further familiarize themselves with the instrument and facilitate normal maintenance in the future.
10basic operation
- Rock sample preparation
(1). Drilling and cutting of rock samples: Drill the rock sample into a cylindrical shape with a diameter of 25, cut both ends flat, and ensure that the cutting surface is perpendicular to the axis.
Refer to SY/T5336 for the method of drilling rock samples
(2). Wash oil for rock samples
The oil washing method shall be carried out in accordance with SY/T5336
(3). Drying of rock samples
The drying temperature of the rock sample should be controlled at 60-65 ℃. After drying for 24 hours, it should be weighed every 8 hours. When the difference between the two weighings is less than 10mg, the measured mass of the rock sample should be recorded.
(4). Measure the geometric dimensions of the rock sample: length (L), diameter (D).
(5) The determination of gas permeability in rock samples shall be carried out in accordance with SY/T5336.
(6) Extract saturated oil (water) from the rock sample, weigh it wet, and calculate the pore volume of the rock sample.
(7) Soak the saturated rock sample in oil (water) and set it aside.
2. Process preparation
Ensure that the liquid in the storage container and various pumps is sufficient. If it is insufficient, please add it.
- Installation of rock cores
Take out the pre saturated rock core from the beaker, place it in the clamp rubber sleeve, insert the clamp plug, and tighten the rock sample.
- Seal the rock sample with ring pressure
- Apply back pressure
Backpressure control is achieved by applying pressure to the back pressure valve, and the external control pressure is gas to ensure control accuracy.
- Heating up
First, turn on the fan switch of the constant temperature box on the panel, then turn on the heating switch. Set the temperature to be heated on the temperature controller, and the temperature controller will automatically control the constant temperature box to reach the desired temperature.

To stop heating, simply turn off the heating switch or set the temperature controller to a temperature lower than room temperature.

11、 Weiprotect
The constant speed pump needs to be cleaned regularly, and for detailed maintenance, please refer to the constant speed pump manual.
Electronic scales should avoid strong vibrations and must not be overloaded. For detailed precautions, please refer to the scale manual.
The computer equipped with this instrument is a dedicated controller for the instrument. Do not copy software randomly, especially USB drives of unknown origin. Computer viruses may cause confusion and errors in control and data acquisition.
All parts of the instrument that come into contact with liquids are made of stainless steel, which has a certain degree of corrosion resistance, but it is not a one-time solution. The process manifold needs to be cleaned regularly, especially after injecting acid or other highly corrosive liquids, it should be immediately cleaned with clean water. When the process is not in use for a long time, fill the process manifold with oil or blow dry it with high-pressure air to prevent rust and corrosion.
Long term use can cause normal damage to the process seals, affecting the sealing performance. Therefore, it is recommended to conduct pressure tests on the instrument regularly, replace the seals in the leaking parts of the instrument, and for frequent users, a cycle of 3 months is recommended.
